Saturday Kitchen fans 'switch off' as they issue same complaint about special guest
Saturday Kitchen viewers criticised the programme for becoming "very irritating" following a guest's appearance during the latest instalment (September 28).
Presenter Matt Tebbutt returned to the BBC studio alongside chefs Tom Parker-Bowles and Dina Macki, featuring special guest Paul Whitehouse.
At the beginning of the episode, Matt revealed Paul's appearance came ahead of his next stage performances playing two Only Fools and Horses characters. The comedian was in high spirits as he discussed the musical, quickly breaking out into impressions of Grandad.
This led fans to social media where they complained about the 66-year-old. One wrote: "Paul Whitehouse is so annoying and everything he says he has to try & be funny and the others laughing prob thinking the same."

A third fumed: "Not going to watch this show anymore. It's just the host and his fake laugh acting like a child with any guest that's on @SaturdayKitchen."
"I hope Paul isn't fishing for compliments this morning... #saturdaykitchen," added another viewer. Alongside a snap of Bob Mortimer, someone else said: "When Paul Whitehouse was on Saturday Kitchen, I rang in 2,637 times to make sure that he would get Food Hell."
However, others were delighted with Paul's appearance as they took to social media to praise the line-up.

"Some people on TV you can tell have a persona and play up to the camera. Others are naturally very, very funny people. Paul Whitehouse very much the latter. What a guest," declared one fan.
A second said: "It’s normally tomfoolery & nonsense from yours truly when the now habitual low grade #SaturdayKitchen fayre is served with Woke guests etc but they have outdone themselves for once with Paul Whitehouse."
