GB News stars rage over Boris Johnson's Megxit revelation: 'Questionable judgement'
Boris Johnson stepped in at the last minute, back in January 2020, to try to prevent "Megxit" - and an explosive debate unfolded about it on GB News this morning.
Spiked Online's deputy editor, Fraser Myers, blasted that his support for the former working royal couple showed his "questionable judgement". It was revealed that the tense conversation took place "on the edge of some Africa-UK investment summit" - and Boris' success was very limited.
"Harry wasn't returning apparently. he just couldn't do it," it was revealed this morning. Fraser Myers then swept in to ask: "No offence to Boris Johnson, but why would you ask the Prime Minister to get involved in a family matter?"
He quipped that Boris "delivered Brexit but couldn't stop Megxit". Barely pausing, he then added: "I think any advice from Boris, about women in particular, should come with a health warning!"
He also stormed: "Another thing Boris said in his memoir is that Harry and Meghan are great assets to the UK, which I think shows his questionable judgement!"

Fraser Myers spoke about Boris Johnson's plan on GB News (Image: GB NEWS)He added that he felt the pair had "tarnished" themselves with their commercial dealings with brands like Netflix.
Fraser also addressed Harry's controversial tell-all autobiography Spare, in which he alleged that his brother Prince William had been physically violent with him and told of his drug-taking exploits, including inhaling nitrous oxide meant for pregnant Meghan's pain relief as she gave birth.

Boris' bid to get the royal couple to stay will be covered in his new autobiography,. in which he reveals that the "manly pep talk" he'd been asked to give was "totally hopeless".

They reportedly had a 20-minute chat on the fringes of the government’s UK-Africa Investment Summit, which took place in the Thames Docklands area.
However, just hours later, Harry went ahead with an emotional speech claiming he felt there was "no other option" but to stand down as a working royal.
He stated during the speech: "Our hope was to continue serving the Queen, the Commonwealth, and my military associations, but without public funding. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible.
"I would step my family back from all I have ever known, to take a step forward into what I hope can be a more peaceful life."
