At the beginning of the year, Will, portrayed by Dean Andrews, found himself embroiled in a fiery love affair with former wife Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco).

While it seemed Rose sought a reunion with her distant daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) she was actually immersed in a devious scheme alongside Ruby (Beth Cordingly) aiming to shatter Kim Tate's world.

Claire King brings to life the formidable Kim (Claire King), who had no clue about her husband Will's amorous transgressions.

Kim, ever the iron lady, gave Rose the boot from the village without ever guessing the infidelity under her nose. Nevertheless, the ghosts of Will's indiscretion are now shadowing him in the form of anonymous threats to disclose his clandestine affair with Rose.

On Friday's thrilling episode (September 13), the blackmailer intensified their tactics, propelling Will to probe into an intrusion at Home Farm, reports Leeds Live.

Yet a twist ensued when Kim divulged the theft of her cherished horse, subtly insinuating that will might be privy to the identity of the crafty culprit.

However, many fans are betting on Lydia Dingle, played by Karen Blick, as being behind the blackmail, citing her intimate knowledge of Home Farm's inner workings.

Emmerdale enthusiasts have been fervently speculating on Reddit about the mysterious blackmailer's identity, leading to some intriguing suggestions.
