Fallout TV Show Joins Rare Company With Emmy Wins

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards took place on Sunday evening, and Prime Video's Fallout TV show--based on the game series--took home multiple awards. The live-action show won the Emmys for Outstanding Music Supervision and Outstanding Emerging Media Program. It was nominated for 16 total awards.

For Outstanding Music Supervision, Fallout beat out titles like Baby Reindeer, Fargo, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Only Murders in the Building. For the Outstanding Emerging Media Program category, Fallout won over the video games and VR titles Emperor, Louis the Child: Red Rocks - Live in VR, The Pirate Queen, and The Grand Getaway.

Before this, the only live-action video game TV show to win an Emmy was HBO's The Last of Us, which scored eight Emmy wins for its first season. Netflix's animated League of Legends show, Arcane, previously won four Emmys.
