Shinola Readies the Canfield Speedway Lap 07 Limited Edition

After debuting its first-ever manual-winding chronograph in July, Shinola now welcomes the seventh iteration of the Canfield Speedway model into its roster. Following the success of the first Canfield Speedway that instantly sold out when it was introduced over three years ago, the Detroit-based watch brand has since produced various sequels of the model.

Drawing inspiration from Detroit’s automotive heritage, the timepiece borrows the palette from the Chevrolet Nova classic car. Starring a retro-looking dial rendered in brown, blue, yellow and white, the Canfield Speedway Lap 07 comes in a polished stainless steel case, measuring 44mm in diameter. The case is fitted with a coin-edge bezel, vibrant anodized aluminum collars on the pushers, while its full exhibition caseback offers a clear view of its customized Sellita movement.

To complete its race-inspired flair, the watch is paired with a “Big Rally” perforated leather strap, which arrives in a honey-brown hue. In addition, a custom-design poster depicting the original Chevy Nova vehicle will also be included with every order.

Limited to 500 pieces, the Canfield Speedway Lap 07 wristwatch boasts a price point of $2,995 USD and will be avaiable to shop through Shinola’s webstore starting September 17.
