Strictly Come Dancing viewers spot problem with Tess Daly's appearance on new series

BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers spotted a problem with host Tess Daly as she appeared on the first episode of the new series on Saturday night.

The fan favourite returned for another year alongside ever present sidekick Claudia Winkleman.

But there was a chaos to the curtain raiser as blind comedian Chris McCausland and Go Compare singer Wynne Evans both caused mischief in the interviews.

Viewers, though, called out Tess Daly for her struggles with the unscripted moments and asked about a change in her appearance too.

In one moment, blind comedian Chris McCausland interrupted Tess’ interview with Dr Punam Krishan.

She was interviewing the doctor when Chris cut in “Nobody can believe we’re in the same room as a GP!.”

Tess was unfazed and launched straight into her next question.
