S.S.DALEY's Womenswear Debut "No Suffix, Prefix or Quote" Is Straight To the Point

Steven Stokey-Daley is the man of the hour. The Liverpool-born designer opened London Fashion Week with a significant milestone, showcasing his first womenswear collection at London's Royal Academy. Unexpectedly attended by the likes of Harry Styles and Emma Corrin, S.S.DALEY's Spring/Summer 2025 "No Suffix, Prefix or Quote" collection got straight to the point.

After showing at Pitti Uomo 105 and Harry Styles's investment in the UK label, S.S.DALEY's next showcase was expected to be bigger than ever. Still, his womenswear debut remained concise with 24 sleek looks, reinventing his signature medieval and elegant style for the most dapper ladies around. Attention to detail was vital at S.S.DALEY, with antiquated blazers opening the show featuring intricate floral embroidery, slightly exposed shirt collars, and elaborate crotchet socks.

Next, hand-beaded skirts gave off a pixilated effect, illustrating blooming florals from decades past and future. Old-school waistcoats opened and flowed at the knees, subtly complemented by furry neckties that came alive untamed. The collection oozed a luxurious feel, with contoured double-breasted coats slimming the waist while keeping you warm with fur neck trimmings. S.S.DALEY hasn't let go of summertime just yet, seeing his next chapter nurture blooming florals on formal co-ords and leather-pipped trench coats. Warped gingham cascaded over translucent maxi skirts paired with dainty tank tops destined for outdoor picnics, completing the collection with angel-embroidered crewnecks, sheer organza uniforms, and hefty fringed bags.

All in all, S.S.DALEY did what he does best for SS25, and his womenswear debut was no different. Sharp and refined with dashes of archaic beauty, Daley continued to prove that he can do it all.
