Eminem Drops Extended 'The Death of Slim Shady (Mourner's Edition)' Album

Eminem is following up his recent MTV VMAs performance with the extended edition of The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) .

His latest record's Mourner's Edition features a total of four brand new tracks, including one skit and "Fuel" with Westside Boogie and Grip and "Kyrie & Luka" with 2 Chainz. The album was earlier teased with a short visual that saw Eminem eerily walk into a convenience store manned by none other than The Alchemist, who is left spooked with Em's visit.

The original version opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 281,000 equivalent album units in its first week. It gave the rapper his 11th chart-topping album to tie him with Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand and Ye for the fifth-most No. 1s on the chart, and also earned the biggest sales week for a rap album in 2024. It was also the year's second-largest sales week for a digital album behind Taylor Swift.
