Judi Love has had her say on her Strictly Come Dancing experience with Graziano di Prima. The Loose Women star was joined by her fellow panellists - Linda Robson, Ruth Langsford, and Brenda Edwards - on today's episode of the ITV show, where they chatted with actor and singer Shayne Ward.

Shayne has signed up to the new series of Strictly, which kicks off next week, and was keen to find out what the panellists' experience of the show had been. Asking both Ruth and Judi about their time on the show, Judi - who was partnered with Graziano di Prima on the programme - admitted it had been "hard work".

She said of her experience on the show: "It was hard work," before quipping that she had lost a stone within about a week due to the intensity of the time she had to train to get ready for each performance.

Judi and Graziano were the fifth couple to be booted off the show and at the time, Judi paid tribute to her professional dance partner. She said: "There's a sense of accomplishment when taking part in Strictly and I just look at Graziano and I’m so appreciative of what he’s done and what we’ve done together."

However, Judi did confess she had had some challenging times whilst in the show.

"This week is Movie Week and I'm doing the Charleston. There are a few bits I found really challenging and I had to keep reminding myself to be light on my toes. You think because you’ve done a bit of dancing you should know what you’re doing a little bit, but no I was learning from scratch again!" she said at the time.

"I cried during rehearsals as I was in complete shock that I’d managed to do the whole thing! So far a lot of my dances have been about strong, flamboyant women, so I’m looking forward to doing some softer characters."

Graziano was let go from the programme earlier this year after allegations surfaced about his conduct in rehearsals with Love Island's Zara McDermott.

He said in a statement at the time: "I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime."

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday 14 September.
