The Hisense PX3-PRO Aims to Offer a Flawless Home Theater Experience

When you think of a projector, you may think of a unit at the back of your entertainment room, shining its beaming light across the entirety of the abode to display a crisp, clean image on the other wall. However, as projector technology continues to evolve, a new crop of projectors known as "ultra short throw" (or UST for short) have arrived to provide a less space-intensive option. At the front of that technology is Hisense — a brand that's known for its cinema-grade home theater equipment — who's just released its new PX3-PRO UST.

Placed directly under the viewing wall, the PX3-PRO can display a screen from 80 to 150 inches in size. Thanks to 3,000 lumens of brightness and a Pro AI algorithm that automatically adjusts brightness and color contrast while eliminating "color noise," the system can perform in rooms both bright and dark, and is integrated with Google TV, making for easy access to Neflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and more, as well as an optimal setup for gamers. No expense is spared on the system's sound as well: it boasts 50-watt frontal Harmon Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos for immersive sound.

The PX3 Pro is available now via the Hisense webstore and select stockists, retailing for $3,499 USD.
