GMB Laura Tobin's weather forecast sparks fury as ITV viewers rage 'hypocrite'
Good Morning Britain’s beloved meteorologist Laura Tobin returned to screens to report on this week's upcoming weather but was met with criticism from viewers.
The 42-year-old was live from the ITV studio to share news of wet weather which seemingly sparked fury on social media.
She reported: “There’s low pressure close by, we have some showers in parts of England and they’re slowly moving their way east.”
However, Laura promised: “But nowhere near as heavy as the showers we had yesterday.” Although many weren’t enraged at the weather predictions, they took aim at her recent summer holiday.
In the comments, @JohnDoe29248490 raged: “Don’t you just hate the smug look of our climate hypocrite!”

A third @HintonShaggy posted: “Not much global boiling propaganda this summer, probably because it was a s**t summer.”
@DuncanHutchiso5 complained: “Just off a flight from her holidays and it’s back pushing the narrative. Basically saying that if this summer had been hotter it would have been warmer than average.”
Despite the backlash @Brian_Maskell1 praised: “Good Morning Laura looking beautiful in your blue dress, keep up the good work you do.”

Laura was among the many TV presenters who were replaced over the summer for a seven-week break, as Susanna Reid also took a break to spend time with her three sons on a lavish getaway to Ibiza.
Ahead of her holiday, the 42-year-old refused to divulge on her destination and instead gave Kate Garraway a cheeky response.
She said: “I'm going to a warm place. For the next 10 days, it's going to rain here, sorry about that.”
GMB airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1.
