Trial In Tammy Sytch Wrongful Death Lawsuit Delayed To 2025

The wrongful death lawsuit filed against Tammy Sytch has had its trial pushed back to next year. As previously reported, a motion was filed in July to delay the lawsuit, which was supported by both sides due to scheduling conflicts with other trials and a pending appeal regarding certain items for discovery. PWInsider reports that a hearing was held last week on the motion and that the trial has been delayed to March 25th, 2025.

The lawsuit brought by the estate of Julian Lasseter against Sytch and seeks in excess of $30,000 in damages in relation to the March 2022 accident that led to Lasseter’s passing. Sytch was sentenced to 17 years in prison due to the criminal convictions related to the accident. Her public defender has appealed the sentence, with no ruling by the court made on that appeal as of yet.
