The Voice UK fans say LeAnn Rimes has 'already picked winner' as she makes debut

LeAnn Rimes made a stunning debut as one of the new coaches on The Voice UK, which returned to ITV on Saturday night with fans declaring the first singer she chose to back as the series 'winner'.

The American songstress graced the famous red chairs alongside Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and fellow newcomers Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones from McFly.

After a few performances, it was Joy's turn to take the stage. LeAnn was so impressed with her vocals that she performed the iconic chair spin to signal her interest in having Joy on her team.

As the only coach to express interest, Joy joined her team, reports the Mirror.

"I'm so happy that I get to play with you and we're gonna have fun," she told an elated Joy.

"You were all in it and I love a risk like that. Just one little thing for me., I would have loved to have heard a little bit more of a differentiation."

When Joy offered to sing another song and invited LeAnn to join her, the Can't Fight The Moonlight singer didn't hesitate and joined Joy for a rendition of Sir Elton John's Your Song.

One viewer took to social media to say: "Blimey Joy is the best contestant ever."

While another said: "I want her to win" and another added: "My early winner #Thevoice #TheVoiceUK".

As for LeAnn, viewers have mostly been impressed with her debut. After her performance with Joy one said: "How good is @leannrimes to do that, absolute superstar #TheVoiceUK."

One fan expressed: "I grew up on Can't Fight the Moonlight, so I am very happy to see @leannrimes take a chair on The Voice UK! " Another viewer tweeted: "#TheVoiceUK loving seeing one of the most underrated voice on tv. @leannrimes is just amazing."

A third chimed in with: " Another added: LeAnn Rimes is lovely #TheVoice."
