This Morning descends into chaos as Jeff Goldblum drops 'ageing' confession

This Morning: Panel discuss broken 3,500-year-old Bronze Age jar

Hollywood's Jeff Goldblum stirred up a frenzy on This Morning with some tantalising revelations and high jinks in the studio.

The 71-year-old star graced the iconic blue sofa once more, this time to discuss his new Netflix series, Kaos, alongside hosts Craig Doyle and Sian Welby. Jeff offered an intriguing glimpse into his role, sharing details about his character Zeus.

Delving into the plot, Jeff described how his immortal character starts to unravel upon seeing the signs of aging. Sian quizzed him: "Doesn't he, like, almost lose it after getting one wrinkle?"

To which Jeff responded: "Yes, that's what happens. I look in the mirror and I'm supposed to be immortal never aging beyond whatever this is."

The interview then spiraled into a mix of humour and confusion as Jeff's behaviour turned wildly whimsical. Attempting to keep the segment coherent, Sian wrestled with the unfolding bedlam while viewers were treated to a spontaneous song by Jeff and Craig, reports the Mirror.

While another tweeted rhapsodically: "Watching Jeff Goldblum chatting away on #ThisMorning is the most Jeff Goldblum that I have seen Jeff Goldblum. What an amazing person."

One viewer gushed, "What a lovely man Jeff Goldblum is. And glad it was Craig and Sian who interviewed him. Don't think any of the other presenters apart from Josie could have made it so fun and enjoyable."

Another fan remarked, "Truly the nuttiest interview ever. Not sure that was a coherent line of questioning to Jeff Goldblum on #ThisMorning but hey at least everyone was having fun."

Meanwhile, a different viewer commented, "Loving Jeff Goldblum embracing the randomness of #ThisMorning! He should be on every day, they're very well suited!" The show Kaos has been identified as a British mythological dark-comedy television series now available on Netflix.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
