Platform 7: Police Officer brings Lisa home

In the third instalment of Platform 7 viewers got to see the heartbreaking scenes on how Lisa (played by Jasmine Jobson) died. Throughout the ITV thriller, people have seen the ghost on a mission to learn the truth about her death, after it was written off as a suicide.

However, neither she nor her family were convinced that was true, which sparked her to uncover the real circumstances from beyond the grave. As the episode on Wednesday night unfolded, tensions were at an all-time high between Lisa and boyfriend Matthew (Toby Finn Regbo).

Cracks started to show as Matty was revealing his real colours and controlling tendencies. In one scene, Lisa and Matty had a row and he turned aggressive, causing her to run out of the house to a park nearby.

While there, a police officer picked her up after Matty had called the authorities, making out he was worried about her well-being. However, people were distracted when they noticed the copper taking Lisa back to her controlling boyfriend was Coronation Street's DS Swain (Vicky Myers)

One person wrote: "D.S. Swain from #Corrie has transferred to #Platform7 as well as Toxic Tom from #Emmerdale!"

Another added: "I can't believe that the police woman is Swain who also is a police officer in @itvcorrie."

Someone else commented: "Wasn’t that the only policewoman on TV - Swaine from Corrie????"

"Was that Swain from #corrie?" asked another.

Thrilled by the cross-over another fan wrote: "Hey that's Swain from #Corrie! #platform"

Elsewhere in the epsiode, Lisa learned that Matty had put spyware on her phone and decided to confront him, furious at the betrayal.

Packing his bags, she told him to get out of her home and life, which resulted in a huge row. Pinning her down on the bed, he started to turn violent once again.

Kicking him in the stomach, she quickly ran out of the house, trying to get away from him. Frantic, she ended up heading towards the train station.

Climbing over the fence, Lisa fell onto the platform and scrambled back as she saw him following. Managing to stand, she stumbled while on the edge of the platform falling back as the train approached and met a deadly end.

Speaking to Express last year, actress Jasmine Jobson spoke about how they filmed scenes of her appearing to walk through walls in her ghost state.

She confessed: “That took us a while to figure out! I was walking through open doors.

“It took us a while to get it together but once we knew exactly what we were doing, it was a piece of p. We got it down, it was wicked.”
