WWE Plans to Maintain Format of Less Matches for PLEs

– WWE Bash in Berlin is scheduled for later this weekend, and there are currently only five matches scheduled for the event. Fightful Select has an update on WWE sticking with the format on less matches for its premium livevents.

According to the report, WWE premium live events with less matches are expected to continue. WWE officials are reportedly happy with the PLEs with less matches on them, and the format has been working for the company. It’s also reportedly helped officials stack Raw and SmackDown with more matches, which is beneficial when running SmackDown in the same city as a PLE held the following night. This Friday’s edition of SmackDown will also be held in Berlin, Germany at the Uber Arena.

Bash in Berlin is scheduled for Saturday, August 31. The show will be broadcast live on Peacock.
