Zenith and Felipe Pantone Reveal an Iridescent DEFY Skyline Tourbillon

Zenith and long-time collaborator, Felipe Pantone have linked up once again to unveil their third timepiece: a special edition Defy Skyline Tourbillon.

The latest co-creation continues on a rainbow aesthetic, starring Pantone’s signature kinetic art style that imbues the dial with a unique effect to interplay with light, color and geometric patterns. What sets this new timepiece apart from the duo’s previous collaborations is that the indices, hands, tourbillon bridges, as well as the dial plate, come in an iridescent finish. Micro-engraved concentric circles permeate the watch face, creating mesmerizing visual effect.

The iridescent treatment doesn’t stop on the dial — it’s also reflected in the star-shaped oscillating weight on the caseback. Inside, Zenith’s emblematic El Primero 3630 caliber beats at a rate of 36,000 vph, providing around 60 hours of power reserve.

Attired in a 41mm-sized stainless steel build, the artist’s initials are engraved on the top two corners of the watch case, while T and 1 adorn the lower corners. A primary bracelet comes in steel to match the case, while an additional black rubber strap is also offered.

Priced at $62,300 USD, the Defy Skyline Tourbillon Felipe Pantone special edition will be released on September 12 in a limited run of 100 examples only. For more information, visit Zenith’s website.
