Piaget Debuts the Polo Skeleton Ceramic at Watches & Wonders Shanghai 2024

For the first time, Piaget has implemented ceramic into its Polo Skeleton collection. Unveiled at Watches & Wonders Shanghai, the new Piaget Polo Skeleton Ceramic continues to showcase the Maison’s watchmaking prowess through amalgamating technical excellence with innovative materials.

The timepiece underwent three years of product development, with the biggest challenge being to seamlessly integrate ceramic into the Maison’s ultra-thin DNA. The resulting model features an impressive thickness of 7.5mm, which is merely 1mm more than its steel and gold counterparts.

Encased in titanium, the watch case is treated in black DLC to complement its ceramic components’ dark color schemes. The timepiece sports a mostly tone-on-tone design, with the openworked dial accentuated with touches of blue. The indices, hands, and Piaget logo show off a jewel blue tone but reveal an aqua-like lume in the dark.

The Piaget Polo Skeleton Ceramic is powered by an in-house 1200S1 movement, an ultra-thin self-winding caliber boasting a jet-black look. Completing the timepiece is a classic Piaget rubber strap in a matching black color. The timepiece has a price tag of $42,900 USD/£36,700 GBP and will be available to inquire through Piaget’s website.
