Tse, Tang win silver in Japan Open

Hong Kong's badminton duo Tse Ying-suet and Jordan Tang struck silver in the Japan Open on Sunday, after being edged out by the national team in the mixed doubles event. China's Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin beat the SAR team in straight sets, winning 21-12, 21-12. Tse and Tang both thanked their fans for their support on Instagram. This was the first competition the Tse-Tang duo took part in after competing at the Paris Olympics, where they were outclassed by South Korean opponents Chae Yu-jung and Seo Seung-jae in the quarter-finals.
