PANGAIA's New Hope Tee Series Champions "Biodiversity Optimism"

PANGAIA, the purpose-driven lifestyle label known for its impactful apparel, has designed an all-new "Hope Tee Series" that intends to inspire and foster "hope for global conservation and restoration efforts."

Each T-shirt celebrates a global milestone with graphic designs centered around "Biodiversity Optimism" made by illustrator Taylor Dasbach. The "IVF Rhino" tee, for instance, spotlights a fertility breakthrough in which the first IVF rhino pregnancy was made possible, offering a sign of hope for future pregnancies to save the almost-extinct northern white rhino. Meanwhile, the "Back Finches" tee lauds the Galapagos Islands' restoration program for releasing 510 finches from five species on Floreana Island.

Down the line, the "New Octopus" design heralds scientists' discoveries of four new octopus species near Costa Rica's El Dorado Hill, and the "Illusive Mole" tee illustrates the De Winton's golden mole's rediscovery in November 2023.

The tops are made from organic cotton and dyed using Nature Coating BioBlack TX™ to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Notably, Nature Coating’s BioBlack TX™ is sourced from FSC-certified wood waste, while more traditional carbon black dyes are made using petroleum.
