Gordon Ramsay reveals why he doesn't wear his wedding ring

TV's famously forthright chef Gordon Ramsay is set to make a triumphant return with the 23rd season of the sizzling hit show Hell's Kitchen US come next month.

Adding spice to the series, this installment - dubbed 'Head Chefs Only' - will be stirring up drama in an all-new custom-built Connecticut venue nestled within Foxwoods Resort Casino for the first-ever time.

Igniting screens since its fiery debut on Fox back in 2005, Hell's Kitchen has cooked up one of the most heated culinary showdowns on television. Two squads of chefs duel it out in hopes of securing the ultimate prize, a prestigious role as head chef at a top restaurant.

The previous round saw Cork City's own Ryan O'Sullivan triumph over competitors from Huntington Beach and Columbus in an intense final battle.

Excited about the show's double commission, with season 24 also confirmed to sizzle in the future, Ramsay, at age 57, expressed his enthusiasm to Deadline: "As my very first show on Fox, Hell's Kitchen holds a very special place in my heart and it's incredibly gratifying to have it renewed for its 23rd and 24th seasons.

"This show just keeps getting better and better, and with Fox, ITV and A. Smith and Co. as my partners, you can expect even bigger challenges, stronger talent and more intense competition in Hell's Kitchen in the years to come."

Away from the studio spotlights, Ramsay enjoys family life with his wife Tana together they cherish their six children; Megan, age 26, twins Jack and Holly, 24, Matilda, 22, Oscar, five, and baby Jesse, who is just nine months old, reports Cornwall Live.

In a heartfelt chat with People some time ago, the culinary maestro shared his experience on embracing parenthood later in their marriage journey.

"I think I'm a better dad the second time round, if I'm honest," he admitted. "Tana's always been an amazing mum. But I think, if I had to self critique, I know I'm better because I've got experience now."

Gordon Ramsay sees a multitude of advantages in having significant age differences between his children and shares: "The second part of this family with the other two little ones, I think they're in a great position because they're getting educated a lot earlier from their bigger, older siblings, and they're fascinated with their careers."

"Oscar understands what a police officer does now because his big sister is one, and then he's still trying to put Jack's Green Beret on. So as a five-year-old, he's picking up on the importance of working and career wise. It's pretty incredible."

Contrary to some bold headlines that said he can't stand the Cornish, Ramsay has made Cornwall his familys sanctuary for nearly ten years now.

Having cashed in handsomely by selling their Trebetherick and Fowey homes, since 2021 the Ramsays have settled into their luxurious Rock residence, originally snapped up in 2015.

The property, purchased at a cool £4.4 million, was once a quintessentially 1920s five-bedroom house, but with the nod from Cornwall Council, the Ramsays transformed it into a modern estate with an additional dwelling known as The Garden House.

The Ramsay family's lavish abode features two kitchens, four ensuite bathrooms, and a pair of terraces with stunning views over the Camel Estuary. The smaller property includes three bedrooms, a boat store, a car port, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room area.

Not to be overlooked are the luxurious £102k infinity swimming pool and the impressive £31k wine cellar.

In a candid chat on Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin's podcast 'Postcards from Midlife' last month, Tana Ramsay shared that all six of their children still reside under their roof.

"By the time we finished the project and moved back in three weeks ago, everyone has a bedroom again. They've all moved home. Holly lives in Nottingham, but she's always coming back to London and obviously wants a bedroom with her boyfriend [swimmer Adam Peaty]," the 50 year old revealed.

"Luckily when someone's sneaking in at three in the morning [and] the dog is barking like crazy, doors are slamming, [baby Jesse] sleeps. They just have to revolve around him really."
