WWE NXT Rating Down Slightly, Viewership Up Against DNC Night Two

WWE NXT saw its rating tick down and viewership up slightly from last week against the second night of the Democratic National Convention. Tuesday’s episode garnered a 0.16 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 639,000 viewers per Wrestlenomics. Those numbers were down 5.9% and up 3.6% respectively from the previous week’s 0.17 demo rating and audience of 617,000.

The demo rating matched the 0.16 from two weeks ago, while the viewership was the best since the July 9th episode brought in 656,000 viewers. The show was up against the DNC, which aired across 12 networks and averaged 20.6 million viewers — though it must be said that was an average across the full night, and viewership was higher at the end of the night after NXT with former President Barack Obama’s speech at 11 PM ET drawing 21.9 million viewers. By comparison, night one of the DNC drew 20.0 million across networks. (Yesterday’s Raw ratings report only listed the CNN numbers). The combined 18 – 49 demo rating has not yet been noted for either night.

NXT is averaging a 0.187 demo rating and 635,000 viewers in 2024 to date, compared to a 0.162 demo rating and 624,000 for the same point in 2023.
