Porsche Reveals One-Off 911 Speedster During Monterey Car Week

During this year’s Monterey Car Week, Porsche captivated enthusiasts with the reveal of a bespoke 911 Speedster, crafted under the brand’s exclusive Sonderwunsch program. The car, which took over three years to create, is the vision of Italian designer and Speedster collector Luca Trazzi.

Trazzi, a passionate Porsche enthusiast, sought to fill a gap in his extensive Speedster collection by designing a 993-generation Speedster—a model that was never part of Porsche’s regular production. Collaborating closely with Porsche’s Sonderwunsch team, Trazzi transformed a 1994 911 Carrera Cabriolet into his dream car.

The result is a meticulously crafted one-off, featuring a striking "Otto Yellow" paint, named after Trazzi’s dog, and incorporating stylistic elements from previous Speedster models. The car boasts a redesigned rear lid, black Turbo-design wheels and a retro-inspired interior, adorned with black leather and yellow checkered seat centers.

Under the hood, the Speedster is powered by the 3.8L engine from the 911 Carrera RS (Type 993), delivering 300 hp. This unique model was created to showcase Trazzi’s design prowess and also highlight the extensive customization capabilities of Porsche Sonderwunsch, marking a new level of bespoke automotive craftsmanship for the program.
