MING Unearths a Visually Mesmerizing 20.01 Series 3 Timepiece

Independant watchmaker MING has unveiled the 20.01 Series 3, its newest limited-edition timepiece that serves as the brand’s testament to innovation, engineering and mechanics.

As part of MING’s Special Projects Cave initiative, this new reference is what its makers considered to be the first watch to feature a fused borosilicate dial. Alluring not only to the eye, the dial spotlights a radially symmetric circular pattern composed of 600 voids. This unique structure proffers a fascinating visual effect when the dial is viewed from different angles. All 600 of these voids are individually hand-filled with Super-LumiNova X1 to give the watch face an intense and magnetizing glow.

Housed in a 41.5mm-wide case crafted from 18k 5N rose gold, this tantalizing timepiece runs on the Agenhor for MING AgenGraphe 6361.M1 caliber — a sophisticated chronograph movement geared with the Agenhor coupling mechanism, regulator and upgraded clutch. Viewable through the watch’s unobstructed open caseback, the movement offers around 55 hours of power reserve when fully wound.

The 20.01 Series 3 watch comes complete with an anthracite goat leather strap and retails for 43,500 CHF ($50,916 USD). Releasing in a limited run of 20 examples, the timepiece is currently available for order via MING’s official website.
