Rochelle Humes details roast dinner she made for her son

This Morning's Rochelle Humes had viewers melting as she sent a special message to her son Blake live on air. The TV presenter, who was joined by Joel Dommett on the show, shared a personal anecdote about her family's eating habits.

Rochelle revealed: "We're going through a bit of a thing with Blake, our youngest, at the minute where we're just going with what he wants to eat. We're just being patient, not going to make a big deal out of it. He wanted a roast dinner on a Monday!"

In a charming gesture, she turned towards the camera and gave a thumbs-up, saying: "Thanks for that son! So I made like a mini roast."

Her co-host Joel couldn't help but praise her parenting skills, exclaiming: "How great are you as a mother when they're like, 'I want a roast dinner' and you go, 'I'll just rustle that up?"

But Rochelle modestly responded: "No I'm not, I did a cheap one. I just wanted him to eat. We had to have gravy in a separate bowl it's a whole thing."

Joel continued to commend her, saying: "What an incredible mum you are. 'You want a roast dinner?' I'd be like 'Deliveroo, here we go'". To which Rochelle replied: "No I just want him fed. One little sad Yorkshire pudding. Frozen!", reports the Mirror.

The conversation then took a light-hearted turn as Rochelle asked Joel about his evening, leading him to share: "I went on a lovely date night last night, with my wife, luckily."

Rochelle playfully retorted: "Okay, now's not the place to talk about it if not!"

Joel revealed that their "great" dinner date quickly shifted focus back to their son Wilde. He stated: "It felt like it was the first proper time we got a babysitter and we went out, had a nice little meal.

"Obviously we just looked at photos and videos of our baby and then immediately were like, 'Let's go and have a look at the monitor!'"

Rochelle chimed in, saying: "That's what happens. You're like, 'Yes please, let's have a date night' and then you just sit there like, 'Shall we go home and smell him now?' You get in the room and you're like..."

She comically imitated taking a sizeable sniff of the baby – making Joel collapse into giggles.
