GB News underwent a major shake-up as Eamonn Holmes was missing from the programme. The 64-year-old usually presents the GB News Breakfast Show alongside Isabel Webster from Monday to Wednesday, however, was absent from Monday's edition (August 19) of the show.
Isabel, 41, was instead joined by Nana Akua, who has been a regular face on GB News since 2021. The TV duo sat down to discuss the latest headlines, from Keir Starmer's drop in support to Kamala Harris' final campaign stop in Pennsylvania.
While Eamonn's absence wasn't explained, it is likely he could be taking a break from his busy schedule. Since announcing his split from Ruth Langsford, Eamonn has reportedly found love again with 42-year-old fellow divorcee, Katie Alexander.
Katie's ex-husband, George Alexander, recently broke his silence about their blossoming relationship, explaining that he has "a lot of sympathy" for Ruth.

Opening up to The Sun about how devastating his own marriage breakdown was, George said: "It took me a couple of years to recover. I know how distraught Ruth must be feeling. She’s going through what I did after our marriage ended."
George suggested his ex-wife could be harbouring guilt towards the Loose Women star, adding: "Katie has a heart so will feel bad about Ruth." It transpired that Katie had been in contact with Eamonn on social media while still married to George, though he insists it was platonic at the beginning.
Detailing their interactions, he explained: "She was not swooning over him as though he was George Clooney. But she enjoyed being active on social media and mentioned one day she got a response from him."

However, George was unexpectedly taken aback to discover that Katie and Eamonn had been "regularly" seeing each other since their split in 2022. The businessman admitted: "I was surprised by it. Katie would go and visit him. It was a regular pattern."
Ruth, 64, is adapting to her new solo journey and recently underwent a glamorous makeover. The former This Morning presenter decided to switch things up and try out longer locks.
Taking to social media, Ruth told her followers that she took their advice and wanted to try out adding a few extra inches to her hair. Beaming from her dressing room, Ruth sported a black and white long-sleeved blouse and opted for heavy eye makeup, looking almost unrecognisable.
