UTM welcomes 900 new students

The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) has welcomed over 900 new students for the 2024/2025 academic year, the largest intake in its history with a 50% year-on-year increase. UTM rector Fanny Vong expressed her joy in joining the university’s vibrant community and highlighted 2024 as a pivotal year following the university’s name change. She noted the high quality of incoming students and the popularity of new programs aligned with global trends. For Vong, several new programs have been widely welcomed, “fully demonstrating the curriculum’s alignment with the contemporary trends and the needs of the international community.”
