This Morning: Rylan Clark reacts to Coupon King's gag

There was a humorous hiccup on This Morning when Rylan Clark jokingly stormed off the set but quickly made a comeback during Thursday's broadcast.

The telly favourite, 35, was dishing out teasers for the upcoming segments of the show with his fellow presenter Josie Gibson, ahead of their chat with 'The Coupon King', Jordon Cox.

As Jordon joined the hosts on-air, he cracked a joke that clearly didn't impress Rylan. Reacting in jest, the celebrity who first found fame on The X Factor announced: "I'm out," and faked a set departure, while a sheepish Coupon King stood by.

Rylan enthusiastically welcomed Jordon saying: "We are going to be continuing our mission to help you Save In 7 Days and our Coupon King is back," then prompted: "Jordon, what have you got for us?" reports the Mirror.

Jordon turned revealing three £10 notes fixed onto his back and quipped: "Cash back," leading Rylan to walk out of the shot and joke: "I'm out."

Later, Rylan shared his thoughts, commenting: "It's the worst jokes that do make you laugh," Josie couldn't help but giggle as well, complimenting: "He's great."

This week sees Josie and Rylan at the helm of This Morning, stepping in for regular anchors Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley who are enjoying a summer hiatus.

ITV's This Morning viewers have been utterly charmed by the fresh presenting team of Josie and Rylan since they started their stint on Monday (August 12), with heaps of fans now clamouring on X - formerly known as Twitter - for the pair to be given permanent roles.

The audience took to social media to express their delight over the duo's chemistry. Comments pouring in included a fan declaring: "Josie and Rylan are a great Duo As iconic Host Together Please make them permanent #ThisMorning."

Praise kept rolling in with another tweet that stated: "I wish @Rylan presented This Morning every day! It's fun to have him with Josie as well. #ThisMorning."

The buzz continued to build with a cheerful message saying,"Lovely seeing Rylan on #ThisMorning, a breath of fresh air," while others were equally enthused, with one saying:"#ThisMorning Must say @Rylan and Josie are looking lovely this morning."
