This Morning hosts halt show minutes in to make 'milestone' announcement
Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson interrupted Wednesday's edition of This Morning to express their gratitude to viewers as they kicked off the show with an exciting announcement.
The pair, who were filling in for regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, bubbled over with excitement as they revealed a significant milestone for the show.
With trademark cheer, Rylan initiated the exchange: "Hello and Welcome to Wednesdays this morning, what a nice morning," to which Josie enthusiastically responded: "Especially with you, honestly, he cheers up any morning."
In a humorous aside about his appearance, Rylan quipped, "It's the turkey," gesturing to his teeth, leading to Josie's declaration: "I think you look gorgeous and we've got some delightful news this morning, actually."
They were both eager to extend heartfelt thanks to their audience: "So we want to start the show by saying a massive thank you to you that are watching at home," reports the Mirror.

Rylan disclosed to the show's fans: "We do because yesterday, we found out that we reached a massive milestone that wouldn't have been possible without all of you lot."
Josie couldn't hide her delight as she made the revelation: "Yeah, thanks to your continued support, we've had over one billion video views on our social media platforms," and as gold confetti rained down, she added: "One million views and it's only August."
Acknowledging the contribution of their colleagues, Rylan praised, "A massive shout out to our digital team as well. They bring you all the highlights from the show, all the behind-the-scenes gossip as well, we film that just for you, and you never get to see that on the telly. You don't get to see it here."
Josie concluded with a reminder for the fans: "So do not forget, when we come off air at 12.30 there's still loads of ways that you can watch your favorite This Morning moments.

The popular duo, Josie and Rylan, have joined forces to take over presenting duties on This Morning this week much to the delight of viewers, with some clamouring for them to become a permanent fixture.

As Cat and Ben enjoy their summer break, the show is introducing a carousel of guest presenters to cover for the usual hosts.
