Natasha Raskin Sharp returns to BBC's Bargain Hunt as one of the main hosts, following a lengthy career as an antiques expert. At the start of 2024 she took some time out of work to be with her family following the birth of her first child, baby Jean.
The 38-year-old expert in Scottish contemporary art comes from a successful family, with her dad being artist Philip Raskin and her grandfather being TV magician, Max Raskin. Initially training in law, she left her university course early, realising it was not for her.
After obtaining a History of Art degree, she started auctioneering for McTear's, while balancing her TV career on various antiques shows. In 2021 she started a new business auctioning artworks from the studios where they were made.
Speaking to Glasgow West End Today, she said: "With my travelling rostrum and trusty gavel - a gift from my dad, as it happens - I’ll auction off the artworks from the very rooms in which they were created. For many, auction houses are unfamiliar territory and people are especially put off by the commission added to the hammer price.
“I’ve decided to add 0% buyer’s commission to the hammer price so that when you buy an artwork at Exhibit Auctions, what you bid is what you’ll pay.” Here's all you need to know about what else she is up to now.

She is also running her own radio show on BBC Radio Scotland and earlier in August she updated fans on Instagram, alongside an adorable photo of herself and Jean.
She said: "We'd love it if you'd join me on @bbcradioscot at 10pm BST. If you're not in Scotland, use the free @bbcsounds app. Sorted!"
The photo showed Natasha beaming as baby Jean nuzzled into her mother's face. Fans called the pair "beautiful" and "gorgeous".

Baby Jean went on her first holiday in July as Natasha shared a photo of the pair splashing in the pool together, with Jean sporting a sweet hat and sunglasses.
She did not reveal the sunny destination but said she had an "immense" time, but was ready to throw herself back into her radio work.
The antiques expert has also recently taken part in the annual Bargain Hunt auction for BBC Children in Need, for which she showcased some stunning hand-knitted Bargain Hunt fleeces.
In a photo advertising the event, baby Jean was seen wearing an adorable red knitted cardigan with the Bargain Hunt logo on the front.
