Athens Kallithea FC Reveals 24/25 Away Shirt

After revealing its 24/25 home shirt with a 1960s-inspired short film starring Theopisti Pourliotopoulou earlier this month, Greek football club Athens Kallithea FC has returned to reveal its 24/25 away kit. Arriving ahead of the team's return to Greece's top division for the first time in 18 years, the Kappa-branded away jersey makes references to Kallithea's founding days, when the team played in white shirts with navy shorts, earning them the nickname "England."

“We’re continually looking to the club’s past," said Ted Philipakos, the club's president and creative director. “It’s simultaneously an opportunity to celebrate where we came from and to source meaningful inspiration when we’re creating new things.”

Building on the club's history, the 24/25 away shirt features a clean white facade with subtle debossed lines across the entire frame. An ever-so-slightly oversized collar complements the club crest, Kappa's retro logo, and the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens’s ΕΜΣΤ iconography in the team's old navy tone.

Ringing in the fresh design, the club hired photographer Ethan White to capture the shirt on London model Aws Bob Fakhari in Athens' social skateboarding venue, Latraac.

The 24/25 AKFC away shirt is now available to shop on the club's webstore, in both short-sleeve and long-sleeve finishes. Take a look at the design in the campaign above.
