Nilu27 Unveils the NILU Hypercar: An Out of This World V12 Masterpiece

Nilu27, the new hypercar brand founded by celebrated designers Sasha Selipanov (ex-chief designer of Koenigsegg) and Inna Selipanov, has announced the debut of its first vehicle, the NILU hypercar. Set to be showcased at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week, the NILU challenges the conventional direction of the automotive industry by embracing a raw, analog driving experience.

The NILU hypercar is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine, developed in collaboration with Hartley Engines. This engine, producing over 1,000 hp, is a testament to the brand's commitment to a visceral, unfiltered driving experience. The car's design draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including '60s era F1 racers, classic Italian design and the Bauhaus philosophy of "form follows function." The result is a striking vehicle that pairs functional beauty with high-performance engineering.

In contrast to the industry's shift towards electrification and digital interfaces, the NILU hypercar focuses on manual controls and tactile feedback. With features like an open-gate seven-speed manual transmission and a steering wheel free from distractions, the NILU offers a driving experience that prioritizes driver engagement and precision.

Production of the NILU hypercar will be limited to just 15 units, ensuring its exclusivity, with a street-homologated version also in the works that will be made up of 54 units. For those hoping to catch a glimpse of the vehicle in person, the NILU is set to be showcased at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 15.
