West Ham United's negotiations with Manchester United over the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka have entered an advanced stage, according to reports. Both clubs are understood to be finalising the permanent transfer today, which will quickly open the door for the third recruit of the INEOS era.

West Ham's pursuit of Wan-Bissaka has been delayed by the right-back's reluctance to leave United with less than one year of his contract remaining.

But the Hammers appear to have navigated past that hurdle and are now closing in on his signature to continue an exciting summer transfer window.

Sky has slashed the price of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle in an unbeatable new deal that saves £216 and includes 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

With Ultra HD included at no extra cost, football fans can enjoy the 2024/25 season with crystal clear picture quality.

According to Sky Germany, a final agreement is expected to be struck today, with Wan-Bissaka's medical in London planned within the next three days.

The 26-year-old is said to have verbally agreed personal terms with West Ham earlier this month and will sign a contract until 2030.

With 10 months left on his current United deal, the delay has likely stemmed from a payoff owed by his current club worth the remaining duration.

Harry Maguire was in the same situation after West Ham agreed a £30million deal for his services last summer, which led to his Old Trafford stay.

Wan-Bissaka is primed to depart, though, and become United's fifth senior sale of the summer after Alvaro Fernandez, Willy Kambwala, Donny van de Beek and Mason Greenwood.

West Ham will reportedly pay up to £18m for the former Crystal Palace defender, who joined United in a £50m switch in 2019.

An exit at that price would bump the Red Devils' funds raised from player sales to around £60m and leave their net spend in the region of £28.5m.

It would also open the door for Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui to complete his long-anticipated arrival, following Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro through the Old Trafford arrivals suite.

He is reportedly available for around £15m and could be joined in M16 before the August 30 transfer deadline by teammate Matthijs de Ligt.

Erik ten Hag didn't name Wan-Bissaka in his travelling squad for this afternoon's Community Shield clash against Manchester City at Wembley.

It was the biggest indicator yet that he was in line to become the latest recruit of Julen Lopetegui's first summer at the helm.

Jean-Clair Todibo will join imminently from OGC Nice on a season-long loan with a £34m buy option. He and Wan-Bissaka will be the seventh and eighth new arrivals at the London Stadium.

Lopetegui has so far splashed just under £120m on players, including Wolves centre-back Max Kilman, Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville and Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug.

Luis Guilherme has also joined from Palmeiras, as have Sheffield United's Wes Foderingham and Real Betis' Guido Rodriguez on free transfers.
