During the concert, the band will play orchestral versions of their biggest hits, including ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’, ‘Cold Hard Bitch’, ‘Look What You’ve Done’, ‘Rollover DJ’ and ‘Get Me Outta Here’ among many others.

Frontman Nic Cester said of the upcoming concert: “We are all very excited to work with the MSO to add another musical dimension to our catalogue. The opportunity to elevate the live experience was one we just couldn’t pass up. We’re going to rock the Bowl like never before!!”

The band have been celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2003 debut album ‘Get Born’. They have already wrapped up an extensive tour of Australia in support of the anniversary, and are next due to tour Europe, the UK and the United States in October.

Elsewhere, Jet recently released their new single ‘Hurry Hurry’ as a limited vinyl exclusive, and are working on their fourth album, which is set for release in 2025. The LP will mark their first new album since 2009’s ‘Shaka Rock’. Taking to their official social media accounts, the Aussie rockers wrote: “We’re so excited to tell you that after 15 years, we’ve started work on a new album due for release in 2025!”

In other news, Cester previously revealed that he had auditioned to be in AC/DC before they hired Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose.
