For Nike SB, the SB Dunk Low remains on top as its most prominent silhouette. The sneaker was just highlighted in a collaboration with There Skateboards, and is now set to be presented in a The Wizard of Oz-themed colorway later this year, perhaps to coincide with the release of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo's Wicked.

This isn't the first time the SB Dunk Low has drawn inspiration from the Oz franchise as a "Dorothy" colorway of the silhouette released back in 2015. For 2024, a first look at the pair reveals that the shoe will be covered in a poppy field-inspired look of orange, red, yellow, green and black that draws from the 1939 film's scene where Dorothy and The Cowardly Lion fall asleep in the field. Additional detailing includes the Wicked Witch of the West at the sockliner and Dorothy's “No Place Like Home,” quote at the heel.

At the time of writing, the Nike SB team has not announced that this collaboration with The Wizard of Oz featuring the SB Dunk Low will be releasing. However, it is currently expected to drop later this year via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a starting price of $135 USD.
