Mariah May acknowledges that she learned a lot under Toni Storm and will use it all to beat her former mentor at All In. May turned on Storm after winning the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and she spoke with the Daily Star who asked her what she learned from Storm.
“I mean, there’s no need to put the rivalry aside!,” May said. “I did learn so much from Toni Storm! I love Toni Storm. She gave me everything, from the UK indies when I stepped in to perform for her, to Stardom where she kind of paved the way for girls like me, all the way to AEW.”
May continued, “I learned so much from Toni Storm, so much that I’m going to use all of that against her when I beat her at Wembley Stadium on August 25 when I beat her for the World Championship.”
May will battle Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In.
