Letter: Unlike Trump, Kamala Harris is more than ready for the world stage
On July 31, NBC News reported that Donald Trump said this about Vice President Kamala Harris’ potential meetings with world leaders as president: “She’ll be so easy for them. She’ll be like a play toy.” He added, “They look at her and they say we can’t believe we got so lucky. They’re gonna walk all over her.”
Looking directly into the camera, Trump said, “I don’t want to say as to why, but a lot of people understand it.”
We all understand what he meant by that last comment, and it is offensive.
I posit that what those world leaders would be thinking of in dealing with Trump is, “How much money is this going to cost me?” And, in a Trump-Putin meeting, Putin would be pondering, “Maybe I can get Poland thrown in with Ukraine for a little more money.”
Trump has proven time and time again that he only represents one person: himself. Don’t believe for a second that he will ever have the best interests of the United States, or you, in mind, unless you are a very wealthy billionaire who is willing to pay him.
Trump exemplifies every characteristic that you don’t want to see in your children, and certainly not in the president of the United States. His rhetoric is constantly filled with hate and divisiveness. That is not what America is about! We need a leader, not a bombastic loser who can’t string a coherent set of words together to even form an intelligible sentence. If you have been paying any attention, you certainly understand that Kamala Harris is more than ready for the world stage. Listen to what she has to say, and you will be convinced that the choice is simple: Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
