Joe Tessitore Debuts on WWE RAW on September 2, Michael Cole Moving to Smackdown

During today’s Countdown to WWE Summerslam special, it was announced that WWE will be making commentary changes starting next month.

Joe Tessitore, who signed with the company last month, will debut on the September 2nd episode of RAW. He will be the play-by-play announcer for the show. Meanwhile, Michael Cole will move to the Smackdown brand.

The previous announcement said that Tessitore would call the action with Wade Barrett and Corey Graves, but this wasn’t confirmed on the Countdown special.
