MJF Defends AEW American Title Against Templario at CMLL Viernes Espectacular

– AEW American Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) was victorious on last night’s CMLL Viernes Espectacular show. During the event, MJF successfully defended his title against CMLL World Middleweight Champion Templario.

The event marked MJF’s in-ring debut in CMLL. The show was held at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City. You can view some highlight clips and images from the match below.

With the victory, MJF is next scheduled to defend his title later this month against former champion Will Ospreay in an epic rematch from their new 60-minute match from Dynamite. The rematch will be held at AEW All In: London 2024 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 25. The event will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
