Rebecca Adlington stole the show with her fashion choice while presenting the BBC's Olympic coverage on Friday night, leaving fans utterly captivated by her eye-catching dress.

Social media was ablaze with viewers eager to find out where they could buy the stunning linen maxi dress she donned.

Available from Boden and retailing for £175, the striking dress features a deep neckline, blouson sleeves and a multi-coloured pattern.

The ex-Olympic champion swimmer, who clinched two gold medals in the 400-metre freestyle and the 800-metre freestyle events at the 2008 Olympics, received much acclaim for her stylish look.

Rebecca has been broadcasting from the Olympic Aquatics Centre alongside Clare Balding and fellow swimmer Mark Foster.

There were emotional scenes earlier this week when Andy Murray's tennis career came to an end after losing to Team USA duo Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul in the men's doubles.

As the 37-year-old exited the tennis alongside Dan Evans, Clare was left in floods of tears and had to be consoled by Rebecca.

Reflecting on Murray's unforgettable career, Balding said: "My word, hasn't he shown us everything he is about in his three matches here.

"It is never over until it's over. And now sadly, in terms of his professional playing career that is it, it is over. And all we can say is thank you, thank you."

Choking up, she turned to her punditry team and said: "You better say something," prompting Rebecca and Mark to take over the broadcast.
