Big Sean continues to flex his versatility with each new single lifted from his forthcoming Better Me Than You album. Following up "Precision" and "Yes" comes "On Up," which finds the rapper reflecting on family and fatherhood and features a feel-good music video featuring Jhené Aiko, shot from the point-of-view of his son Noah.

Sean Don refers to "On Up"'s visual as one of his favorite, "full of my favorite people, and shot by Noah’s God Dad, Lawrence Lamont."

"I look into my son's eyes and still see his innocence / I see my inner child in him and still the remnants / Will he lose it to the world as an emanator / Or is it something that in me and his mama had instilled in him," he spits on the first verse.

The rapper also shared another glimpse into the introspective delivery that appears to be Better Me Than You earlier this week. In another trailer, he goes into depth on the album's title. "It’s usually ‘better you than me,’ but when you're that one that has to step up and endure it all, endure the extras … When you gotta be that one, you realize you were only put there because you can handle it because that’s the way God made it for you. So you realize, 'alright, better me than you' because I’m the one who can do it."
