Linda Robson scolded by Christine Lampard as she let's slip 'bad word'

Christine Lampard apologises after Linda Robson swears on TV

Linda Robson, the beloved TV personality, joined Christine Lampard on the Lorraine show, where she chatted about various topics including her ideal soap role and family life, as well as expressing support for NHS staff.

However, an apology was in order when Linda disclosed her top choice for a soap gig. Christine enquired: "There's one thing on the list and it's EastEnders isn't it?"

Linda responded: "Oh yeah, I did do one wartime one Sibby Street years ago, I played Lou Bill's sister Flo Bill but I have hinted a few times that even a little cameo role or whatever but I'd love to play a real b***h."

As Linda elaborated:"Or someone really nasty because I always get light parts."

Christine couldn't help but chuckle, reports the Mirror, but interrupting the host said: "You know it's a funny thing because I thought, she knows it's early morning, she's not allowed to swear for me and you just let a little one slip so I'm sorry if no one likes that word."

"What the B word?" Linda queried, prompting Christine to warn: "Don't say any other words!"

"I didn't realise it was a bad word," Linda admitted, with Christine noting they often had to remind her about language on Loose Women.

The conversation took place shortly after Linda spoke out about her Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford's separation from Eamonn Holmes. At the National Reality TV Awards, she told OK!: "We're staying out of it because it's not our business but we're supporting her in any way we can and just keeping her happy. It's sad for the both of them but just keeping her spirits high."

Ruth resumed her role as a host on Loose Women last month, but she did not discuss the split on live television.
