CM Punk Shares Conversation With Jesse Ventura Backstage At WWE Raw

CM Punk shared a bit of a conversation he had with with Jesse Ventura at this week’s WWE Raw. As reported, the WWE Hall of Famer made an appearance backstage at Monday’s show and shared a photo with Punk in which he wrote, “Why did I come back? For moments like these.” Punk was asked about the meeting in an interview on the SI Media Podcast, and he said he was “blown away” by the encounter.

“I saw Governor Ventura the other day,” Punk said (per Fightful). “Absolutely, 100% blown away, one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me in my life is he tells me that he saw I came back, and he said, ‘The place must have changed. If Punk is back, I’ll go back.'”

Punk added, “I can’t take credit for it, but I think a guy like me being back speaks volumes. Obviously, it does.”
