Tottenham are reportedly exploring a move for Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke. The 26-year-old, who missed out on a place in the England squad for Euro 2024, scored 19 times in the Premier League last season.

Ange Postecoglou is said to be looking at new forward options this summer, with the future of Richarlison in doubt.

Only last year, Solanke signed an extension to his current deal, committing his future to Bournemouth until 2027.

But he has still been linked to a host of top level clubs, including the likes or Arsenal an Chelsea. He's said to have a £65million release clause in his latest deal, that can only be activated by certain clubs.

And according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have now entered the race. He also added that the Cherries were yet to receive any bids so far.

Earlier this month, Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola insisted the player was happy to be doing pre-season with the club. But he was also realistic over the possibility of him being pursued.

"Dom is happy," he said. "He has come back in very good shape, is training very well and the relationship he has with his team-mates is very good.

"But the market is open. You cannot say he is going to stay or that he is going to leave because we don't know. In the end, it is something you cannot control."

Romano has also reported that Tottenham are looking to bring in a new winger. The likes of Eberechi Eze or Pedro Neto have previously been linked, but neither player has been the subject of a bid.

Tottenham have already signed midfielder Archie Gray from Leeds United for around £30million. Swedish international Lucas Bergvall has also signed from Djurgarden.

The club finished fifth in the Premier League last season, Postecoglou's first in charge. It means Europa League football in 2024/25, a competition likely to stretch the Australian's squad.
