iPhone 16 Dummy Units Leaked Showing Potential Design and Colors

The iPhone 16 dummy units have been leaked, providing a glimpse at what's to come for the anticipated next iPhone model expected to arrive sometime this September. The units, typically sent out to case manufacturers, only provide a sneak peek at the design as they don't feature software. The final product could still be very different from the dummy units and they will most likely feature more details and be constructed with higher-quality materials.

The standard model stands out from this leak, receiving a design revamp from previous models. The diagonal camera layout is swapped for a bigger vertical lens. This shift to vertical could allow for the inclusion of Spatial Video which works in tandem with Apple's headset Vision Pro. The standard model is also rumored to feature the Action and the Capture Button as a part of the model's improvements.

The iPhone 16's rumored color palette is also revealed, featuring a new color. The leak revealed dummy units in pink, green, blue, black and the new white colorway which is set to replace the yellow. The colors are a big shift from the iPhone 15 and it is still unknown if the iPhone standard and iPhone Pro models will receive the same hues.

Pro models receive smaller tweaks as they will look the same but get bigger. The iPhone Pro will go from 6.1 to 6.3 inches and the iPhone Pro Max 6.7 to 6.9 inches.
