ITV Loose Women in chaos as all four hosts abandon set in epic show 'first'

Loose Women: Panelists walk onto set at start of the prom themed show

The Loose Women set was transformed into a spectacular prom scene, as the four fabulous panellists hosted the show's first ever prom edition.

Thursday's episode of the popular ITV daytime show saw viewers joining Coleen Nolan, Frankie Bridge, Katie Piper, and Brenda Edwards for an unforgettable on-air celebration.

Dedicated to marking the show's silver jubilee in style, the women took over their set with an extravagant display of balloons and dressed to the nines in their most glamorous ball gowns.

To kick things off with a bang, the stars appeared in what seemed like a limousine, with Coleen exclaiming: "We are off to our first Loose Women prom and what a great way to mark our 25th anniversary."

Brenda chimed in, expressing her excitement but also her nerves about who would be crowned prom queen, to which Katie responded: "Oh come on we are all going to be prom queens in this fabulous limo," reports the Mirror.

Coleen opened the show with the words: "Hello and welcome to the show and as you can see you've been invited to the first ever Loose Women prom. We have put on our gladrags for this very special event."

Dishing out teasers for the remaining segment of the programme, she expressed: "Coming up on this special show we are looking back on our school days but don't be fooled by those cute faces and no prom is complete without a date, Brenda and I will be joined by super star visitor at the end of the show and we have no idea who they are."

As the episode came to a close, Katie divulged her awareness of the surprise guests awaiting Coleen and Brenda, though confessing she couldn't quite secure the "real thing".

Coleen appeared visibly agitated, remarking: "I've got hot flushes and I don't think it's the menopause. I feel like I'm 16 again."

She then inquired Brenda about her own nerves, "Are you nervous, do you know who it is?"

Brenda reciprocated with uncertainty: "No, I've been trying to find out who they have got."

It was then that Katie unveiled they had secured doppelgangers of 'George Clooney' and 'David Beckham'.

Katie announced: "I actually know who it is and no prom is complete without a date. Please welcome your prom dates George Cloney and David Beckhem."

The set erupted into laughter as both Coleen and Brenda dashed to embrace their mock dates.
