The Texas rapper participated in an event in Atlanta, Georgia as the Vice President and Democratic candidate continues her bid to become the next POTUS.

Taking place at the Georgia State Convocation Center, the rally saw Megan play a mash-up of songs: ‘Girls In The Hood’, ‘Savage’, ‘Body’ and ‘Mamushi’.

“Now I know my ladies in the crowd love their bodies. If you want to keep loving your bodies, you know who to vote for,” the artist told the audience (via Billboard).

Donning a blue pantsuit, Megan said at another point: “I’m so happy to be here, Atlanta. We are about to make history with the first female President. The first Black female President. Let’s get this done, Hotties.”

Megan also appeared in a TikTok video with Harris. “What’s up, Hotties. This is your girl Megan Thee Stallion, aka the Hot Girl Coach, reporting live with the future President of the United States,” the rapper said.

She then asked Harris, “What do you have to say to the American people?”, to which the VP responded: “We are not going back.”

Additionally, former Migos rapper Quavo delivered a speech at the rally about Harris’ commitment to tackling gun violence and running the first-ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention.

He set up the Rocket Foundation in 2022 after his nephew and Migos member Takeoff was shot and killed aged 28. Quavo visited the White House last September to talk about would could be done to decrease gun violence.

Yesterday’s rally marked Harris’ first visit to Georgia since President Joe Biden stepped down from the race to be reelected. He then endorsed the VP to be the Democratic presidential candidate. She is going up against the Republican nominee Donald Trump to become the next POTUS.

Numerous figures from the music world have since expressed their support for Harris, including Ariana Grande, Lizzo and Olivia Rodrigo – the latter of whom highlighted the VP’s stance on reproductive rights.

Charli XCX endorsed Harris by posting: “Kamala IS brat”, a reference to her new hit album and pop culture phenomenon ‘Brat’. This led to CNN attempting to explain the ‘Brat summer’ trend to its viewers live on air.

Elsewhere, Beyoncé gave Harris permission to use her song ‘Freedom’ in an election campaign video after the VP recently walked out to the powerful anthem at a staff meeting.

The clip sees Harris pose the question: “What kind of country do we want to live in?” before adding: “We choose freedom.”

In other news, a writer from The Simpsons has reacted to the news that the show ‘predicted’ Harris’ presidential nomination.

Megan Thee Stallion wrapped up her ‘Hot Girl Summer’ tour at The O2 in London earlier this month – where she teamed up with Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba to perform their collaborative viral song, ‘Mamushi’.

In a five-star review, NME described the show as “an exuberant celebration of fun, twerking and self-confidence”.
