Deadpool & Wolverine continues to soar at the box office, and the film is expected to pass a major milestone today, July 30. The movie should reach $500 million globally as of today, Deadline reported, and it's even pacing ahead of Avatar: The Way of Water so far.

The three-day opening weekend for Deadpool & Wolverine saw the film earn $444.1 million, including $211 million from North America alone. The movie continued to rake in money on Monday, bringing the worldwide total for Deadpool & Wolverine to $496.3 million. Given that, Deadpool & Wolverine needs just a few more million today, July 30, to surpass $500 million worldwide.

As another point of comparison, Deadpool & Wolverine's $444.1 million opening was bigger than Avatar: The Way of Water ($439 million), making it the biggest worldwide opening for any movie since Spider-Man: No Way Home back in 2021 ($587.2 million).
