Stardew Valley: Desert Trader Guide

The Desert Trader in Stardew Valley can be found in the Calico Desert. They offer a selection of different items, many of which cannot be bought from any other vendor. The catch here is that the Desert Trader isn't interested in your money, so you will have to trade other items for their wares, with the asking price changing for each item.

The Desert Trader is found in the Calico Desert, just a little east of where you get off the bus and they are open all day every day, except for during the Night Market on Winter 15-17. In order to reach the Calico Desert, you will need to repair the bus, which can be done in two ways. If you are pursuing the community center path, you need to complete the Vault, which requires four donations totaling 42,500G. If you are doing the Joja Mart path, it costs 40,000G to have the bus repaired.

With the bus repaired, you can head to the Calico Desert and see the Desert Trader whenever you want for the price of 500G for a ticket. The Desert Trader's inventory is made of two categories; permanent items and rotation stock, the ladder of which changes depending on the day of the week.
