Lio Rush Vows To Win ROH TV Championship At Death Before Dishonor

Lio Rush is determined to come out of ROH Death Before Dishonor’s Survival of the Fittest match as the new TV Champion. Rush is set to be part of the match on tonight’s PPV, where he will battle Atlantis Jr., Shane Taylor, Lee Johnson, Brian Cage, and Johnny TV for the title currently held by Atlantis. Rush spoke in a ROH digital exclusive after last night’s ROH TV, which saw him team with Atlantis in a losing effort to Taylor and Johnny.

“I knew this wasn’t gonna go good,” Rush said (per Fightful). “I don’t know whose idea it was to put us together in this match, but look who got caught in the crossfire, me. Look who took the pin tonight, the champ, Atlantis. I hope that you got used to being on the ground because come Death Before Dishonor, you’re going to be taking that pin again, but it’s going to be me with my hand raised.”

He continued, “I don’t know if you know somebody, but ask around. I’m the 2016 Top Prospect winner, and I got another statement to prove I’m back. I want gold, brother. Survival of the fittest. You best believe it’s going to be Leo Rush and Ring of Honor television champ. World television champ, might I add. Oh, yeah. That belongs to me.”
